YOUR PROMOTIONS COMMITTEE AT WORK

France Trade & Education 2024/25 In France, the North Carolina Sweetpotato Commission focused on building market visibility and strengthening industry relationships. Ahead of Fruit Logistica 2025, the team engaged key contacts, including Eric Godard Durand of importer Laparra, sharing French-translated retailer packs that highlighted consumer habits and market opportunities. These packs were showcased at the event, helping position NC sweetpotatoes as a valuable category and laying the groundwork for future collaborations. In June, the team connected with the French embassy to explore trade and promotional initiatives, including potential participation at SIAL Paris, emphasizing NC sweet potatoes' commitment to international partnerships. While no foodservice education activations were delivered in France this year, this shortfall has been identified as a key area of focus for the 2025/26 budget year, alongside continued engagement with retailers, importers, and embassy partners to grow awareness and market presence. France Web Story France’s digital presence soared in 2024/25, with website sessions nearly tripling the annual target. SEO recovery is underway, newsletter signups are ramping up, and upcoming interactive content and landing page enhancements aim to keep engagement climbing.
