Germany Social Media Buzz 2024/25 NC sweetpotatoes made strong digital gains in Germany, with Facebook paid impressions up 76% and engagements up 58%, while Instagram organic impressions soared 202% year-on-year. Reactive, recipe-driven content and seasonal campaigns—especially video posts—drove the highest engagement, outperforming static graphics. Popular posts included trending recipes and festive dishes, while Instagram Reels and story formats proved particularly effective at reaching and inspiring followers. Organic metrics on Facebook saw a slight decline due to initial audience-targeting trials, but paid campaigns more than compensated, generating 1,434 post link clicks and nearly 189,000 video views. Across both platforms, recipe content not only engaged audiences but also drove traffic to the NC Germany website, with notable interest in seasonal campaigns such as Halloween and New Year’s Eve recipes. Next Steps: Focus will remain on video and reactive content, producing more recipe videos, leveraging trending food topics, and prioritising paid promotion to position sweetpotatoes as a hero ingredient in German households. Infographic-style posts will be phased out in favour of formats that resonate with today’s audience.
Germany Web Roundup 2024/25 Germany’s digital campaigns made a strong impact, delivering 30,292 website sessions, nearly triple the annual KPI for all markets. SEO recovery is underway post-replatform, with 301 redirects preserving valuable traffic and rankings steadily improving. Newsletter signups were limited this year due to the delayed launch, with 40 subscribers recorded, but this is set to become a priority moving forward. Engagement averaged 18.7%, reflecting high PPC-driven traffic, and plans are in place to boost interaction through more engaging, interactive landing page content to encourage deeper exploration and repeat visits.
